Spring Break in Oregon

My mom, Katie and I left for Oregon on Tuesday and by Thursday I didn't want to leave! We were heading down to Eugene to visit the University of Oregon, go to a SEC college fair, then make a stop at the University of Portland on the way back home. The drive was long, but not horrible. Katie and I knew the singer, Mat Kearney was from Eugene so I decided to ask him via Twitter where there was a good place to eat. He told us to check out Sabai Cafe & Bar at the Oakway Mall, so we did just that. After a little walk around the park, we went and had the amazing Thai food he recommended. I now recommend the place. The next day we went on a very beautiful but very rainy campus tour around the UofO. I love it there! But with the SEC college fair, I am now officially torn between Univeristy of Oregon and University of Alabama... need to get accepted first. ;) 
Thursday was our last day in Oregon and I really did not want to leave. I was in Eugene for a short time, but had grown to love it. We left despite my begging, so we were on our way back up to Portland. There, we toured the UP. It was equally as beautiful...with larger dorm rooms! The school is much smaller than the UofO and UA, and surprisingly I still loved it.
