Wooster

If you haven't heard of Wooster before, you must go and check out their music, they're simply amazing! They are a small, indie band from Santa Cruz that sounds a little bluesy with powerful vocals. My friends and I were introduced to the band when a friend recommended that we listen to them after she found their CD in her car. But last night, we were fortunate to see them play a backyard party that my friend's parents put together for family and friends. It was great night where everyone was having a blast! 

Showtime

Every year on the last day of our local fair, there is always a fireworks show over the lake. And since I was not able to see any fireworks on the Fourth of July, these were my first ones this summer. At first, we thought we had great seats overlooking the lake and fair, but once the fireworks started, we were not able to see them. So my friends and I ran to a vacant parking lot and enjoyed the fireworks up close and practically, right below them.
